Project budgets at a glance
Stay in effortless control of your project budgets: the new budget alerts inform you as soon as you reach thresholds.
You’ll automatically receive an email when the budget of a project or subproject hits a defined threshold. By default, these thresholds are set at 80% and 100% of the planned budget. The notification is sent when the budget threshold is reached, allowing you to act right away. This way, you can spot potential budget issues early and take timely action.
The new feature is available if you book the Pro Plus plan.
Budget progress clearly visualised
In the project report, a budget bar displays your defined thresholds. In addition to the default values, you can define custom thresholds to match your team’s specific needs.
The email notification shows the current budget status and includes a direct link to the project – giving you instant access to all details.
How to activate the budget alerts
- Create or edit a project.
- Set a budget.
- Define your thresholds – default or custom.
- Save, and the alerts are set immediately.
Who receives the notifications?
All users who have access rights to project reports at the time the budget alert is activated automatically receive budget alerts. Users who gain access rights later can enable notifications manually via the bell icon in the project report.
Manage budget alerts
In your personal settings in “Personal Data”, you turn off budget alerts for any projects you create in the future. Existing projects will continue to send notifications. To turn those off as well, open the project and click the bell icon.
