The New Clock: Keep Track of Working Hours

Clockodo's clock has a new look. It still starts and stops your time entries, but now it tells you much more about your day. Your completed daily work time, your expected end of day, and your weekly progress appear right in view. That way you stay on top of things without opening a single report.

Here's an example from everyday life: It's Friday, 4:30 p.m. You want to know how many hours are left until the end of the week. And when does work end today? From now on, all you need to do is glance at the clock.

Everything That Matters, at a Glance

How many hours have you already worked today? The new clock answers that right away. A small indicator shows your remaining time and updates as the day goes on. Once you reach your daily target, the indicator switches to your overtime hours.

You can see the end of your day, too. Clockodo calculates when you'll reach your planned hours and factors in upcoming breaks. A glance at the top corner tells you at what time you can clock off. With one click, you switch between the expected end of day and the time you've already tracked today.

Beyond the day, you also see the whole week. The weekly overview compares your tracked hours with your planned hours, just like the timetable. Absences and days off are included automatically. This way you notice early whether hours are still missing or you've already worked ahead.

These indicators appear as soon as you've set planned hours. Without them, the clock stays lean and shows only what's relevant to you. 

You can now see how much time has already been spent on a specific task today in the upper-right corner, even if no target hours have been set.

In the future, there will also be a display showing the monthly hours.

Breaks and Work Time Under Control

Breaks are easy to forget during a busy day. The clock now reminds you in time. When a required break is due, Clockodo lets you know early and shows when the next break is due.

The notices are staged. First comes an early warning, then a note about the break time still missing. If you exceed your maximum work time, a red warning symbol makes it clearly visible. This way, the clock supports you in following work time regulations.

The symbols match those in the timetable. So you'll meet the same notices everywhere in Clockodo and never have to rethink them. 

A Fresh Design for Faster Tracking

The new design feels tidy and makes more room for what matters. Symbols and indicators have fixed spots, so you find your way around right away. We've also reworked your favorites.

Favorites now appear compactly as small buttons and expand when you need them. One click starts time tracking right away, and the bar closes again on its own. That's how you book recurring tasks in seconds.

The new clock adapts to every screen. Whether on a large monitor or on the go on your smartphone: the layout and spacing adjust to the space available. So you work comfortably everywhere.

The clock stays your daily companion and can now do much more. You track your time as usual and see, along the way, where you stand in your day and your week. More overview, no extra effort.
